Call a doctor...tell your doctor. ..you should be seeing a doctor once a month anyway....that is something you should tell them.

No, it is not impossible to get your period when you're pregnant. I know this. I got it for the first three months...and then it stopped.

Generally, this is because, during the first three months, your body was producing a little extra lining for your uterus, and had to shed it. It's also possible, if this is your first pregnancy, that your body hadn't adjusted to the pregnancy yet, and wasn't quite sure how to react. I generally go for the first theory, and so does my doctor. She also said, that while it is not common, it's not unknown. Some women get their period for the entire pregnancy. It's nothing to worry about unless the bleeding is heavier than your average period.

In other words, everything is generally OK, especially if you've been taking the proper care of yourself. Don't stress yourself out!! You should be OK.

The best of luck!

You definitely want to get advice from a medical professional, but yes, I have heard of many cases where women still bleed during pregnancy. The flow should stop to allow a suitable environment for the developing fetus to grow.

I've known a few people who had periods while they were pregnant. I would think that maybe your body just tolerates higher levels of baby hormones, but now that they are getting even higher that would finally signal your body to stop menstrating. If you're concerned, ask your doctor, as you should of been there a few times already, prenatal care is vital! Good luck!

My sister-in-law had two periods when she was pregnant as was my friend.

Your period stopped because you aren't supposed to get it when you're pregnant.

I hope you have been to the doctor to confirm that you are indeed pregnant and are getting good prenatal care.

Are you sure you are?
