I have two tiger oscars and they tend to change colors... I think its due to their moods. when i bought them they were both very black and when i got them home they changed colors and i thought i had the wrong fish. I think they were scared. After they got used to the tank they both turned black again.

There are a lot of different kinds of Oscars and cichlids. Even Tiger Oscars vary in color and change when they grow. I have a Black Tiger and Albino Tiger. Check Oscarfish.com - They have a huge photo gallery and lots of info.

i like Tiger Oscars greater. Black & Orange each and each of ways! except you may get a advantageous, uncommon albino with black etching around the fins (like in this video). if so, they are able to the two be very unbelievable additions to any tank.
