Well most people know you can overdose on fat soluable vitamins! Whats your point? Is that all you can muster? I mean you fail to mention that vitamin C and most B vitamins are water soluable and must be replaced. Your agument makes no sense. But that doesn't supreise me.

Hun what you don't understand, when people eat better and don't get sick, they don't need pharmecuticle companies, they don't need doctors. So they have to come up with something.
First off taking too many vitamins is not harmfull. Your body will get rid of what it doesn't use.
Remember when Eggs were so bad for you? That was because the Beef farmers needed more bucks. Now all of a sudden, eggs are good for you. Just like Tuna. Now it is bad for you. After the farm fish markets get their money, tuna will be good for you again.
It isn't about health, it is about the Americian dollar. Bottom line.
I haven't been to the Dr. is over 7 years. (and that was minor). I was going to schedule an appointment to go and they told me I have to be treated like a new patient. Since I haven't been sick in so long, I have to start from scratch. Of course this cost $175 more! So now, because I don't get sick often, I have to pay when I do.

There is a huge difference between vitamins in foods and vitamin pills. For 5 cents you can buy a vitamin C pill which has the vitamin C of 7 oranges. But 1 orange is better than 100 of those pills.
Herbs are different. They are foods unlike vitamin pills which are not foods but chemicals. See site below for thousands of phytochemicals in plant foods that have good effects on the body according to the U.S.D.A. like antidandruff, antidiabetic, antiarthritis, antiaging, antistroke, antihypertensive and anticancer.

You are abslutely right! The medical profession is pushing to have everybody on some kind of drug or another. It is no longer concerned for the people, but the profit. They can prescribe things for cancer that even if it doesn't cure at least it might help their quality of life. Doctors would rather sell the expense drugs.
One of the main ones they have people on is for cholestrol. Of course they do not tell you that their drugs cause your body to deplete and not replenish its natural Q10, Vitamin E and magnesium.
A good book is What they Don't want you to know.

It is just another attempt by the FDA to get people to discount natural cures.
the FDA wants people goimg to the doctors instead of taking herbs and vitamins.
Are you aware that doctors are responsible for 100,000 deaths every year because the patient took medicine that was perscribed by a doctor.

Our commercial food has no nutritional value that amounts to anything. The big pharmaceutical companies, in bed with the AMA, want to keep us all sick and degenerating so they can bilk the insurance companies, who in turn bleed us dry.
Not only that, alternative medicine that cures is hassled to death while crap pharmaceuticals are given the pass to KILL AND HARM.
Try reading the book "RACKETEERING IN MEDICINE". It is a real eye opener about how we are getting the shaft from the allopathic medical community.

Actually, taking to much of certain vitamins can be extremely harmful.
If you eat a balanced diet, you get every vitamin you need in the food you ingest.
