Did you go to a doctor or did you diagnose this yourself. Unfortunately, being able to buy this stuff over the counter keeps many women from going to a doctor to get checked. I don't think you get white bumps. It usually just gets very red and swollen. Go see a gyno before you treat it. There is a bacterial infection that comes from upsetting the balance between yeast and the natural bacteria that keep each other in check. If there is an odor, you should get checked. And if the infection is the bacterial kind, then you and your partner have to both take the meds or you will just keep passing it back and forth. He can also get a yeast infection, so abstain from sex until you get treated.
Good luck, D

Not typically, you should definitely call your OB-GYN. To double check if you have a yeast infection try an over the counter medication such as Monostat 7. If it doesn't start to clear up with in 3 days, its not a yeast infection. Also if they are something you get commonly, try taking Acidophillus on a regular basis or when taking an anti-biotic.

Get somthing for the yeast infection and if you haven't seen a Dr, go get checked to be on the safe side.

Dont let the answers freak you out...SOME people do experience a rash when they get a yeast infection. White bumps or bumps at all arent always signs of std's. Dont be stressed out about it.

Yeast infections can be very uncomfortable, but are usually not serious. Symptoms include the following:
Itching and burning in the vagina and around the vulva (the skin that surrounds your vagina)
A white vaginal discharge that may look like cottage cheese
Pain during sexual intercourse
Swelling of the vulva
Yeast infections are so common that 3/4 of women will have one at some time in their lives. Half of all women have more than one infection in their lives. If you have symptoms of a yeast infection, your doctor will probably want to talk to you about your symptoms and examine you to make sure a yeast infection is the cause.
