Extended lapses in menstrual cycle can mean a number of things. It does not rule out pregnancy nor does it guarantee it either.
Some women have polycystic ovarian syndrome. This causes pain in the abdomen area and is the number one cause of infertility in women. Many of these women go extended times without a cycle. This sometime serious but moreso problematic problem is usually caused by another underlying problem such as a hypoactive thyroid (under active) gland.
Other situations can cause pain and discomfort in a woman and some of these symptoms can be very serious. There simply is no reliable way to know for sure without seeing a OBGYN who is trained to find specific problems women face.

You are still VERY early in the pregnancy. You definately won't LOOK pregnant. As for symptoms you very likely wouldn't be feeling MUCH yet. However in the next couple of weeks you should start feeling more and more symptoms. If not thats okay too! Sometimes women *not myself mind you but some women :P * are blessed with not getting morning sickness. Though you will still likely feel very tired etc. I would get the book what to expect when you are expecting, as well as the Girlfriends guide to pregnancy. Another good book is I believe called your pregnancy week by week. All very informative. Make sure to call up your doctor, and get scheduled for your first couple appts. Many doctors will run a series of blood work when they find out you are pregnant, and many times they confirm your pregnancy with a urine test, and then they will want to schedule your first appt for around 10-13 weeks. To help put your mind to ease, you are MUCH more likely to get a false negative result *the test says negative even though you are infact pregnant* than you are to get a false positive, *the test says you ARE pregnant and you turn out not to be* Good Luck and Congrats

The only way to know is to go see a doctor. If the tests are negative then you are probably not pregnant but there needs to be an explanation as to why you don't have a period yet. The pains and back ache sound like it's coming but only you would know if this is normal for you. I'd hate to think there's a serious reason it's not here and your ignoring it.

Chances are the fact that you are sick is throwing off your menstrual cycle. The stomach pain could be due to the vomitting. If your pregnancy test came out negative on several occasions it's pretty safe to say you are NOT pregnant. If you want to put yourself at ease though you can ask the doctor to do a blood test in addition to their standard urine test to check for pregnancy...
Good luck.

I strongly recommend that you go to the doctor. If you've missed your period for that long, there could be something seriously wrong, even if yu aren't pregnant. Especially if you're very sick.
You could be pregnant, though. I had a lot of aches in pains in the first few weeks (and I didn't have a clue I was pregnant).
Good luck.

you only missed 1 period if you missed it for 6 weeks. Take another test, but a stomach and backache is really doubtful that early in pregnancy. Good luck

Well I would say you should go see a Doctor to be sure. You may be just skipping your period. And your back and stomach hurt probably from your vomiting virus.

Most likely not, by the time you miss a period you should have enough HcG to pick it up.
You need to get to a doctor....missed periods, stomach and back pain and throwing up, could be serious.

You can very well have a serious condition know as an Eptopic pregnancy. It can be fatal for you and sadly always fatal for the embryo. You really need to have a blood test done right away.

It sounds like your period has been delayed, possibly due to illness. If you don't get it in another few weeks, you might think about contacting your doctor.
