Depends upon a couple of variables.
Who is your long distance phone company? Do you have a international calling plan with your long distance carrier? If you do than the costs can vary from a few cents up to maybe 20 cents per minute.
Next it depends where in Mexico you are calling. Mexico is divided into bands, 1 to 7. If you call one say on the border it is less expensive than to call say San Miguel de Allende.
If you have Vonage I think the cost can be as low as .07 cents up to .12 cents.
Are you calling a regular phone or a cell phone.
All these questions need to be answered before you can get an answer as to cost.
I wish it were simpler, but it isn't.

My mom lives in Ohio and calls me all the time. She uses 10-10-987 and pays three cents per minute. Anytime of day or night. I don't know if you have to sign up for this now, but she just used it once and they automatically put the call through and signed her up. You only pay for what you use and there is no additional service charge. She gets a bill every month and the highest bill so far was for 19 calls with a total of about 500 minutes and it cost her like 19.00 or so.
To call her from Mexico, it costs me about $3.00 per minute.

When I walked over one of the three bridges into Cuidad Juarez, Mexico from El Paso Texas in 2010 it was 50 cents. It might have changed in two years. I heard from another avatar here that the port of Santa Teresa is good to cross also. Just type or highlight which port of entry you wish and call them for their current prices for vehicles in either Texas or New Mexico (since you're coming from Missouri).

It depends on what you are using to call, from a cellphone it can range from 75 cents a minute to over a dollar if you dial directly. You can use a calling card and they usually cost 3 dollars up to 10 dollars. Depending on what part of Mexico you are calling, you can get from 1 hour up to 3 hours depending on the card. Hope this helps you out.

If you live in Missouri, it's probably pretty cheap to call Mexico, MO, but if you're calling someone in the country of Mexico, probably the same as from Illinois, Maine, Texas or anywhere else in the U.S.
