1 GB = 1,024 MB

Most companys would consider the one you said is 1915 MB to be a 2 GB

There are 8 bits (either a '0' or a '1') in a byte, but after that it gets loosely defined. Officially, there are 1024 bytes in a kilobyte, 1024 kilobytes in a megabyte, and 1024 megabytes in a gigabyte, but to keep things simple, many companies report 1000 megabytes as a gigabyte. Your player probably has more than just 1915MB of space, but part of that will be used up by the player's firmware (without which it won't play anything). But, yeah, your player would be sold as a 2GB player, because it's pretty close to that amount.
