Ok so as I was putting on deodarant when i got home noticed that my underarm was sore. I am guessing it is a swollen lymp node. Its now sore when i left my arm. I dont know what it is from. I have been having sinus problems because of the weather (or atleast that is what I assumed). My mom says it might because I have a sinus infection. That it can cause ur lymp nodes to become swollen and sore. Lets face it she is not a doctor just doctor mom so is this even possible. Is it something i need to hurry and go to the doctor for or could it wait?

well, i know people hate to be told they are wrong, but sadly your mom is right. a infection even a sinus infection can cause lymp nodes to swell. i am not sure why some swell and others don't, you have quite alot on the human body. i'd say it is nothing to worry about unless it starts to grow, or it changes color.

a sinus infection would probally make the lymph nodes in your neck swollen before the ones in your axillary region. Do you have anysort of cut or infection on that arm or near the lymph node. If you are concerned go to a doctor. Swollen lymphnodes can be caused by something as simple as a local infection to very serious cancers and infections (HIV)

This could be just a simple cyst that can resolve itself. It might be an infection, or worst case scenario, it could be a sign of breast cancer. Lymph nods in the axilla (arm pit) can enlarge with breast cancer. You don't have to feel a lump in your breast. I have one that is about the size of a lima bean and it can't be felt since it is so deep in the breast tissue. any way, you need to see a Dr.if this doesn't go away.

drink a lot of water and keep an in intensity eye on it. ibuprofen is a painkiller to boot as an anti inflammatory. if it would not commence searching/feeling more suitable constructive interior of a few days, you should honestly see a record because you are able to favor an antibiotic.

better get checked out by doctor, it may be an abscess rather than lymph node swelling.
