My doctor recently found that I have an abdominal hernia. Should I try to get him to let me have surgery on it, before it gets to bad?

He'd advise you. It depends partly on what type of hernia. Some need no attention - an inconvenience - but others, such as inguinal (groin) should be stitched up to prevent possible strangulation of the bowel.

I had a hernia like this years in the past. I had a huge tile interest to end or i might loose a settlement so, I rolled up a huge wellbeing midsection sock and positioned it between my belt and the hernia, that variety into now protruding, very silly concept. i ended the interest and went to work out the wellbeing practitioner, once I pulled the sock out and then the hernia popped out, very almost filled my hands, I exceeded out. wellbeing practitioner reported it replace into the main important hernia he'd ever observed, very silly concept of the sock. I had to have a mesh show put in, an excellent plug and it took forever to heal with a variety of of discomfort. I found out by journey, take a lesson from it.

Abdominal Hernia surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her Hernia and colostomy surgery in India by a company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for Minimal Invasive and Laparoscopy surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange Hernia, Appendectomy, Thyroid and other laparoscopy surgery for foreigners in India.
I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the Hernia, Colostomy and other minimal invasive surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
