Ok i have a question and is related to video games. By any chance if someone was to know is PunkBuster free software?? I have been wanting to get punkbuster and i never knew if it is free or if i have to pay?? Please help me! Thank you!

Yes it's free and usually comes with games that support it. http://www.punkbuster.com/
I got Call of Duty 2 and F.E.A.R and they both have an option in the options to turn it on by simply checking a box. In fact, most online game servers, like the ones I mentioned, won't even let you play unless you have PB activated (with the checkbox, in Options, of the Game youre' playing.
If you look in the subfolders of the game you installed, that support Punk Buster, then you'll likely see a folder named PB and have a file called pb.exe in it.

Question: Why do you want punkbuster?
I know that they were putting punkbister on Ultima Online...Punkbuster isn't exactly something that you download. However, you can register your name to it. Here's the link for you :]

I just started having this problem too. I was on vacation until 2 days ago and when I got back It started doing the same thing to me. I have dsl and made no changes recently. Someone help!!!!
