this black stuff that my hamster seems to puke out looks like ****.. it's black and seems soft.. anybody knows what it is and if it is normal?

He is probably eating the poop pellets and storing them in the cheeks like they do everything else...I know that sounds gross, but sometimes Hamsters do that when they are sick.

You know hamsters carry stuff in their cheek pouches, right? I hear they sometimes remove poop from the nest this way.
One time my hamster stole some of my chocolate candy. It melted in her cheek pouches and started dripping out her mouth....
If the hamster doesn't act sick, it's probably not sick.

I've had hamsters and they never did that
Probably your hamster is sick of something
take your hamster to the vet

no it don't sound normal you need to take your hamster to a doctor to get some medicine to help it out.Good Luck you poor thing.

Rodents don't vomit... that's why mouse and rat poison works... because they can't throw it up and get it out of their system. So, your hamster isn't puking out anything.
