Why would you want to act.
You like to eat dont you?
or do you want to be a waiter....then act.

For now, take acting classes, then get an agent. They will tell you about any casting calls that are right for you.
For movies and such, generally unless the child/teen/especially 16 and 17, you will see that they cast people who are 18+ who look younger because they can work longer hours and are less expensive becasue the producers don't need to pay for a tutor which is required for minors...unless they are emancipated.
