The very thing that's making holes in our atmosphere, expanding out deserts and rising our sea levels, drowning islands and low level lands. The US of A is one of only two countries that has not signed with the rest of the world on environment issues, the other is Australia but that's because they do everything we do. Of course it is however progress is not reached by insults. We got a good example of that when the Republicans were in charge all they did was spend their time insulting the left wing and look what happened we ended up in the war you are so angry about. The country was so busy jumping at each others throats that Bush and co. was able to breeze by us with flimsy evidence for a war. However, you are right This current president has had the worst track record on environmental issues. Global warming is acknowledged by 95% or more of the worlds scientists and this administration is worried about drilling for more oil off of the coast of Texas in the Tundra of Alaska and killing for it in Iraq. He hires people from the oil companies to say that greenhouse gases do not effect the environment to justify his pathetic attempt to make pay back his corporate buddy's that got him elected. Oh I'm sorry I forgot he was elected because that is what God wanted were his words I believe.

You're question makes no sense. The two elements do not associate. The first concerns the War on Terrorism, otherwise named "The Long War', while the other deals with elements that were not of W's making (though his domestic policies definitely contributed to it.) What do I mean by this answer? Well the current financial crisis can be laid at the feet of the Carter Administration and the Community Reinvestment Act. After Carter, succeeding administrations chose to exacerbate the mistakes of Carter by encouraging abuse of his incentives to get every citizen in the United States into their own home. Barney Frank and Chris Dodd own just as much responsibility for the current crisis as the president. Giving loans to those who cannot pay is sheer lunacy. Would you loan 5 bucks to a friend who you knew wouldn't pay you back? Of course not. To underpin these loans with the federal treasury is the surest way to insure a financial crisis. Bush is the tail of a long dog trying to promise everything to everyone. Bush is no different than Obamamama other than the 'R' after his name.

I do not care for your description, but the idea behind it is good. We are poisoning our planet, most if not all of us will not live to see it, but unless some kind of interdiction occurs the earth will be in uninhabited rock. I do think that we could develop an alternative energy that would not require burning of fossil fuels. One that is cleaner and better for the environment. John F. Kennedy said we are going to put a man on the moon within a decade, we did it in 8 years. If somebody were to step up and put the same effort into it we could do the same thing with a new source of energy.

Why would we sign up with the rest of the world? They are doing worse than when they signed the Kioto Treaty. America..wake up and start doing your own thinking instead of having these liberal brain washing teachers and instructors flushing our future down the toilet.
Where did we get one drop of Iraq's oil...show us some proof...these liberal talking points have no facts...just allegations.
Global Warming...hog wash...its a natural cycle...ever heard of the ice age...think America caused that too? Why do not American children no how to read or research anything for them selves. I have been to the Arctic and seen the polar bears. I have photographed them. The people that live there say there are more polar bears now more than ever...but according to the media and now the government...they are going to go extinct...hogwash...hogwash...hogwash. The Arctic and sub-tundra is thriving...more than ever in recorded history...do not believe everything you read.
Get off your butt, put down that stupid PlayStation, and go see for yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to the little girls in Afghanistan who can now go to school.
Not to the women in Iraq and Afghanistan who can vote.
Not to the thousands of people who danced and celebrated in the streets after Saddam was executed.
Not to the families of the people killed in the attacks on the WTC, the Pentagon, and flight 93.
Just because people disagree with him doesn't make what he is doing wrong.
And do you think that if we stop using oil, every other country in the world will, too? Puh-leeze.
What about all of the oil wells in Kuwait that Saddam had set on fire by his retreating troops? If you are measuring culpability by what has been done to the environment, then his capture and execution should make every tree hugger on Earth happy.

You don't know your facts. And the more you spout off the more you look like the south end of a donkey goring north. Grow up spend some time writing to our soliers who are over there fighting for your saftey. and if you are talking about the Kaoto treaty it is a joke and you'd know that if you did any research. If we leave Iraq to be over run by terrorists then who gets the oil? Duuu Go and try to reason with the terrorists after all they seem to be your friends and Bush and the rest of us who believe in defending freedom of the individual are your enemy. why don't you take in one of the detainees oh but watch them around your wife or mother or daughter they have no respect for women and will do with them what they want. and don't try to give them forks to eat with they eat with their left hands and wipe their butts with thier right hands/ So you will save on tp.

i don't agree with the war. i am not pleased with the condition of the atmosphere as you mentioned. Our reason for war keeps changing everyday. yes this may just an effort to gain control of others' resources. But if it were you could not deny that we need oil. maybe someday we will not (find an alternative source for energy that will be put to use across the nation.) but it's become vital for our survival. but come on. quit calling people names that is really immature.

No, and Bush doesn't look like an ***. If he did he would have never been elected.
Global warming theory is a joke. The earth was hotter 6,000 years ago and there were no SUV's around then.
