There was a promotion that said if they scored 6 goals you got free wings at Hooters. My mom wont let me go. Anyone think this is wrong??

Dad says he'd take me but mom says she'll kill him if he does(sarcastic of course but all the same.

Nothing wrong with Hooters. It's not like they're stripping or anything in there. I see families with young ones in there all the time. I'm sure it's not the only restaurant with waitresses in skimpy clothing. I bet your Mom is apprehensive about the place because of the connotation the name gives it, but she's most likely never been there. Tell her to go by herself or just with your Dad too see what it's like first and then when she sees it's not naked women everywhere, then you should be allowed to go. Even if you don't get to go, you're not missing much. Go get wings from BW3's or Quaker Steak and Lube something if you want good wings. If you go on wing night it'll be cheap!

Hooters characterizes itself as a neighborhood place, not a family restaurant. Seventy percent of all customers are male, most between the ages of 25-54.
The element of female sex appeal is prevalent in the restaurants, and the company believes the Hooters Girl is as socially acceptable as a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, or a Radio City Rockette.
Your mom probably doesn't think it is acceptable for woman to be exploited like that. However, claiming Hooters exploits attractive women is as ridiculous as saying the NFL exploits men who are big and fast.

Well i can see why your mom wont let you go. Its hooters! Maybeyour parents can bring you some wings from hooters. Or maybe if you act mature and respectful she might let you go.

That's not fair. Hooters Girls don't wear anything girls in high school don't already wear. Seeing as how she won't let you go, can I have those wings?

Come on now, Is it REALLY that you just want those dang wings sooo bad?Ya just can't get your mind off those FREE wings?? If you are so concerned , I will bet your mom will take you somewhere else and even PAY for the dang wings~! Mother always knows best.

Do any of your friends drive? If so, just go! Tell your mom that your "going out to the movies" or something like that. But if you don't want to out and out lie then I suggest you just forget about it. The only good part about it is the wings, the girls could care less about you and probably won't be interested in you. It's one of those look but don't touch situations...

Ok hooters is honestly a family restauraunt...u should b allowed to go i mean jeez ur gonna c it sumtime i know people who take there 3 year olds there plus its FREE wings!!!!

call them up, order the wings to go, and get your mom to pick them up. that way, everyone is happy.
