I promise, it's not bad at all. It is scary just the fact that you are getting them done but once they do it, you will be like wow, I cannot believe that I was scared. My eight year old niece has done it three different times because of sports she couldnt wear earrings and they would grow back up. Go ahead and do it, I promise you will love it.

The lobe is the best place to get pierced because there is more fatty tissue in that area of the ear which causesyou be less sensitive to pain. It will hurt for a second and then it will feel hot as blood is rushing to the site. It may feel sore while you are sleeping for the first few nights but it is completely manageable. Good luck!

When they shoot the earrings in it does not hurt, the noise will startle you, but afterwards it does.On a scale of 1-10, one being hurt a lot, 10 being does not hurt, the pain is about 4. I have four piercings in one ear and three in the other. Make sure you use the products they supply to clean and use it according to directions. Infections hurt a lot more than piercing. Hope this helps....

Nope, just stings a little. Remember to get surgical posts, and keep the area of the piericing clean. Usually with hydrogen peroxide, just swab a cotton tip in the h.p. and lightly glide over the area of the piercing. DO NOT take out the earing. It usually takes 7-14 days for the hole to completely heal. Also, some people are allergic to silver/gold etc. Find out!!!! You could get an infection that could lead to nasty effects. A friend of mine did not take care of this ear properly, now he has a permanent "knot" in his ear lobe, and it's bigger than his other ear lobe! Hope this helps, also ask your doc about any complications and what needs to be done to keep it clean and to heal properly!

It hurts a little, but it's just like a little pinch (I know that's what everyone says, but it's true), less painful than a shot even, and it lasts less than a second. I was scared too when I got my ears pierced the first time, but it's really nothing to worry about.

Coming from experience and piercing hundreds of ears, there is no discomfort. Your lobes will experience rather warm for a 2d however the piercer would desire to placed on some sparkling answer which will cool it down appropriate after. I used to enable the hot workers prepare their first piercings on my ears all of the time. and that i survived. that's purely a pinch and maximum circumstances you anticipate greater discomfort so which you not often be conscious it. And bleeding shouldn't happen purely in uncommon circumstances. shop the backings locked on the top of the posts so the ears have room to heal. i could recommend you get pierced with 14kt reason it promotes the quickest healing. turn and slide them 3 or 4 circumstances an afternoon. And wash your hands earlier you touch them. Even a sprint airborne dirt and dirt will infect. additionally experience your lobes for scars talked approximately as keloids earlier you get pierced. they are greater sturdy to pierce via and would desire to reason infections. yet i've got purely seen that two times or so and that's with people who've have previous piercings. And once you're nonetheless too chicken, bypass to you drug keep and purchase some EMLA patches. decrease one in a million/2 and wrap each bit around your lobe approximately an hour earlier your piercing. this could freeze the lobe to decrease discomfort. Get your ears achieved at Claire's reason they create the appropriate discomfort-unfastened answer and use the better answer to bathe them quite a few circumstances an afternoon. in case you don't get them pierced there, a minimum of purchase the answer from them. I additionally use mine to bathe cuts and scrapes without the fringe of alcohol. yet cleansing thouroughly does help, enormously after a bath, donning cosmetics or perfumes, or washing your hair reason that would desire to extend infections. in case you prefer a gun-unfastened piercing, bypass to an approved piercer, yet you will pay greater. by how, that's not a gun yet an tool. i be responsive to, the only I even have does not shoot bullets. final advice is bypass away unique piercing rings in ears for no less than 6 to eight weeks. Then replace with nickle-unfastened rings today, in case you prefer to alter them. or merely bypass away them in longer. never leaves holes without rings for better than an afternoon for the 1st year. they'd and could % up that actual.

No, unless of course you are afraid of a huge ear piercing gun coming towards your face than you are in trouble. Just close your eyes, two clicks and it is over. Nothing to it. It's when you get the cartilage pierced that hurts just a tiny bit more. Good Luck to ya!!

I'm 12 years old and it didn't hurt at all. Just don't ask them to count down. I'm serious! Unless they pierce a vain, like on my friend, but if you can't see any vains in your lobe, it probably won't hurt. Go to Claire's or Icing and get GOLD (silver infects) studs. I just got mine in August. I hope you have fun. Don't think it will hurt and it won't!

It does hurt, but it's really quick. Think of it as getting a shot, it's a tiny moment of pain. However, to be honest, it may ache a little after you get them done. But it is worth it. I got mine done when I was eight and got two more holes done when I was sixteen (One in the cartilage which Really hurt), as long as they are done professionally, I wouldn't be scared.
