It's definitely NOT an ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancies cause unbearable stabbing pains that appear between the 5 th and 7 th week of pregnancy. The bloating is normal and is caused by the fluctuating hormones. If you have any concern call your DR. That's what they are there for.
Sometimes you will feel discomfort because your uterus is growing to make room for your baby.
Good luck!

One thing - your hormones are fluctuating so bloating then having it go down could be normal. Right up until you say you have sharp pain. That could signal a problem, like an ectopic pregnancy (where the fetus develops in the Fallopian tube instead of the womb).

The best possible suggestion is to get to your Gyn/Ob and have the pain, bloating, etc checked out to make sure everything's ok.
Pregnancy is uncomfortable at times, but it really shouldn't be painful (unless you're talking back cramps in the final trimester).

i had sharp pains about that time, but it was completly normal...but if they are unbearable like you say, I would check with the doctor. And its normal to feel bloated on occasions. Good Luck!

hi-it's alllll normal
your tummy wont get hard till nearly the end of your second trimester--for the first one it just feel like blub, lol
Im sure the pain you feel is just your muscles inside stretching--they will be doing a lot of that in the months to come as baby grows bigger

It might be constipation. But if it's something that's worrying you, you should definitely call your dr. They're used to pregnant women calling with symptoms that scare them!
