Celebrating and embracing diversity adds so much to our lives and it's this attitude that breaks the barriers that separate different people, when the non gay community acquires this way of viewing life and people, then hate, fear and prejudice will begin to fade. It's about acceptance, tolerance and interest in styles that are not our own , it adds color and flavor to our lives and opens many doors

Here in Chile G/L/B/T groups defend not only their rights but the rights of every minority, like Mapuches for example, so that's why we celebrate diversity, because having differences it's what makes us grand!
Can you imagine if everyone was the same? Thing would be really boring, for instance, we would not have anything to chat about now!
The thing is, diversity is good, but there must exist respect also, so that everyone opinion is heard and anyone's rights are defended and respected!

Personally, I'm against those parades. They're like......tools to separate, not to unite.
Otherwise, diversity = ok with me. Someone could walk down the street wearing a huge green wig and a cardboard box and I wouldn't think anything of it. If that's how they want to look, that's great. I'm all for it.

It really isn't that important to them. Gay people are some of the most bigoted and closed-minded people they are. The diversity and tolerance drivel is just a smoke screen. You should do research on the number of GLBTs who kill or sue one another.

It's not important to me. This issue is important to those who are very vocal in the community in my opinion. Most gays just want to be left alone to live their lives as they feel best.

Because we are a minority and when you're a minority you usually look to people that are like you for support, especially, when the people you represent are discriminated against?
