Yes. Yogurt is an excellent source of calcium that babies need and would be similar to baby food. Check out this website for more info. http://cahe.nmsu.edu:16080/pubs/_e/E-135.pdf

jule9104 is WRONG. Milk is not ok but yogurt and cheese is a great food to introduce to a 10 month old. The proteins are broken down (not like milk) and your baby will LOVE it. It's the perfect age.

I actually read in one of my baby books to try giving them yogurt at 10 months, so I say yes. But I gave her the most sugar-free I could find and it was just vanilla flavored. She loved it. It was like the first food I gave her that I would eat, too!

Yes as long as there are no known allergies in the family, and they have a varied diet already. My Daughter is a little younger and has Yoghurt. It was even in a flyer I got from the health nurse as a suggestion for a meal portion. So do not be afraid to offer it, just give them a little to start with like the other foods you have introduced.

Yes. My son just had his 6 month check up and the pediatrician recommended offering him Yo baby brand yogurt. He loves it!

I waited until a year to give it to my child b/c that's when they start on real dairy! I'm sure it's fine at 10 months. Just make sure it's not diet.... the more fatty dairy the better!

Nope...sorry, that is dairy which should not be introduced until age one because of the risk of an allergic reaction. Your choice completely but I never did and never will.
