sure... similies are anything comparing two things, using the words "Like" or "as"... metaphors is when you attribute characteristics of something to something completely different... or comparing two things that are completely different without using the words "as" or "like"... here:
SIMILIES:
1. Bulit like a tank
2. Quiet as a mouse
3. Still as a grave
4. Smooth as a baby's bottom
5. Hard as a rock
METAPHOR
1. raining cats and dogs
2. table legs
3. minds eye
4. play by ear
5. flashing a smile
