Blistex Daily Conditioning Treatment.

It comes in a little peach pot at the check out counters at most major stores like Kmart and Walmart. It helps heal while protecting lips from further damage. It kept mine from cracking and bleeding in the cold northeast Ohio winters and I still use it daily to protect them. It has SPF and only costs about $1.50. It lasts all winter. Well worth every penny.

I would recommend a product called Carmex and you can find it almost anywhere, like Walmart or a Dollar General store. It is in a little round lip gloss-type container it is white with a yellow lid with black writing. It works really well for chapped lips and will also help if you feel a fever blister coming on as well-it will almost always stops it from progressing.

herbal chapstick, vaseline, baby oil, Labello, blisticks,

TIPS
Use an oil-based lubricating cream, such as Aquaphor Healing Ointment, or lip balm containing petrolatum or beeswax.
Apply lip cream, balm or lipstick before going out in cold, dry weather. Reapply several times while outside.
Choose a lip cream or balm that contains sunscreen. Sun exposure contributes to chapped lips.
Avoid licking your lips. Saliva evaporates quickly, leaving lips drier than before you licked them.
Avoid using a flavored lip balm, which can tempt you to lick your lips.
Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids. Dehydration can contribute to chapped lips.
Use a humidifier at home to keep air moist.

I have found that Aveeno lip moisture is the best! I had dry and cracked lips, went out and bought the Aveeno and within an hour my lips already felt better and were healing.

My fav is "Carmex." It says it's for cold sores, but it works great on repairing chapped lips.
