1) 100% increase means the total is (1 + 100/100) = 2 times as much as the original. So more than 100% increase means Friday's attendance is more than 2 times the original day's attendance. This is the same as saying the original day's attendance is less than half Friday's. Half of Friday's attendance is 2100, so the only day with attendance less than that is Wednesday.

2) First find the total number of students. Then divide the number in the chess club by the total and multiply by 100.
Total is (3 + 29 + 295) = 327, so the percentage in the chess club is (3/327 * 100) = 0.92% to 2 decimal places.

friday = 4200 = 200% so 100% is 2100 anything under 2100 is an increase of more then 100%

sc = 295
tot = 327 = 100%

if you divide 3 with the total 327 you get the answer only thing to do is mutiply with 100 (to get %) = 0,917 %
