My oldest daughter is named Darby. I also have one named Taryn. I always liked the name Sheridan, don't know why I never named a daugher that. I also have one named JoHanna, and a daughter named Eden.
For a boy I like the name Jameson.

please don't go too unusual, when I had my daughter, there were twins in the nursery named Ragina and Vagina (vuh jeena).
I have a neighbor that recently named her baby boy Sage Blue (TOO weird), but she also has an Autumn Hunney.
I have a long time aquantance named Skeeter Joe, I thought it was a nickname till I saw his licence, now I can't go around him without wanting to make buzzing noises.
I'm of no help, my kids have boring names. Just remember, your kid has to live with the name you choose until its old enough to legally change it

make sure its not too unusual, because you wouldn't want to embarass the poor kid ♥ but i have to agree with you on the unusual thing, like i wouldn't name me kid anything plain like mary ( no offence to anyone named mary♥) ive always found the name 'Esa' pretty, or 'carmella', or 'adelaide' for girls but im not exactly an expert on the bouy names so here are just some more nice girl names that aren't exactly usual,
Lalaine, Lanie,Madonna=], Marcella, Valarie. thats all i can think of ♥

Consider a name from another country like Africa or Asia. For example, I have three brothers to whom my mother gave African names. They are Tokunbo, Taiwo and Kehinde. Names like these may common in their country of origin, but in the U.S.A. they are definately unusual. I am sure that you can finds some books in your local library or book store that will help in your search.

You can always grab a handful of tiles out of a scrabble game and see what comes up. At least you can have something to blame when "XIRUPA" gets teased in school.
