Marty is the best thing that has happened to San Diego in a long time. Marty didn't play this game, the players did. Guys like Eric Parker fumbling a punt return setting up the Pats for a score. Vincent Jackson dropping balls that any other receiver would have caught. It was the fumbled interception that helped defeat the Chargers.
It was the players, not Marty, that lost this game. Look at the receivers first and go from there.

I agree. If you can't win with a team as deep and talented as this one, then you should NOT get another chance. 9 pro bowlers and the league's reigning MVP? C'mon.
Unfortunately, Marty's shown that in the playoffs he has coached so far that
1) either he is unprepared (like last time against the Jets) and this time as well
2) his players are (Drayton Florence should be fired too, and how about Eric Parker); these players are a direct extension of the coach's sudden brain damage.
All said, fire Mr. Choke already. I can't stand seeing him around anymore.

No way fire him. Remember when we had Mike Riley that just messed everything up. Yeah, the team probably wont be the same next year with Turner probably leaving and Godfrey retiring but letting Marty go may be the worst thing to do. I would fire AJ Smith before I fire Marty. Who cares about his playoff record he has just been unlucky.

I wouldnt blame it on all him, its the players heads that were not right. They learned how to act in the week leading up to the game by seeing what the Pats did. Next time they are in the playoffs it will be different.

Someone just said that if Belichick was coaching the Chargers, they would have blown the Pats away.
I agree.

You can't lay all the blame on him, it's also the mistakes they made that caused the Pats to take advantage.
