I have been to Florida in April, May, July, August, September, and December.

My personal opinion is that the summer months are unbearably hot & humid, but September and December were perfect.

There are a lot of tourists there, so a lot of poor driving. (Not that the people are bad drivers, but it can be difficult to navigate in unfamiliar territory-so people make sudden turns & stops, etc.)

Like everywhere, there are many sides to Florida...the beautiful tourist attractions, the business areas, wealthy homes, and poor homes.

I love Florida! I am trying to figure out a way to go for Spring Break. The one downfall is the traffic. There are so many people on the roads.

It's flat. It's hot. It's humid. There are bugs and other creatures galore that can hurt you; a nature walk means watching for 'rattlers and 'gators...I tried to capture a spider in our office with one of those red plastic keg cups...it was too big (I swear).
Not a lot of culture. Bible belt. Rednecks; "If it ain't broke don't fix it." Lots of bigots still where I now live. (Near Jax)
......It's not that I hate driving behind a guy in a huge broken down truck with a pair of metal man-nuts hanging from the tow ball...........
Did I mention they don't have car inspection here? EEeeeee....

I could never live there because I love the change of seasons (though we're not having winter this year). As far as visiting goes, I have to be on a beach...otherwise it's just hot, humid, and kinda ugly there.
