hanging out of his mouth wanted to use an end machine where this guy was playing. The guy told him "NO get lost". I observed this from a few seats down. I asked him what happened and he said he did not want any smoke near him. I agreed and was proud of this guy. He also said that within a year or two all smoking will be banned in the casinos in Vegas. I went to the Wynn hotel last week and they now do not allow any smoking on the property except in the casino. New policy. Do you think the voters will out law all smoking in casinos? sorry for the long question.

Some places have better circulation than others- the newer ones are pretty good but if you are sitting there playing it is inevitable that some moron man or woman will sit right next to you with a cigarette glued to their lips.

to riteon, I neither drink and drive or kill babies. I also do not want other people killing me with their cigarettes.

Deedee, I wish you great success in quitting smoking because cigarettes are the most evil things on earth. You can quit and once you do, it will be the single most important thing you have ever done in your life. Ask any ex smoker they will tell you this. I had a girlfriend that died from second hand smoke.

Once I heard Billy Graham say there were more Churches in Las Vegas than Casinos....Its just that more people go to the Casinos then the Churches... However, Las Vegas can be a nice place to live. Who knows, you may get employed to be a Chip Monk!!

Here in New York, casinos are about the only public place where smoking IS allowed, because for the casinos to be legal, they have to be on Native American land, and so they're not subject to the same laws as New York State businesses because technically they're on the ground of the sovereign Seneca Nation. I hate it; I'm too young to gamble in the states, but I stayed in the Seneca Niagara hotel with a friend and her family, and the smoke hits you right when you walk into the lobby. It's disgusting. I hope that the casino smoke ban goes through out there in Vegas, because maybe then there will be pressure on other casino operators elsewhere to do the same. I love the public smoking ban we have here in New York!

The guy who told the smoker to "get lost" had no right to do so. I am not a smoker and have never been but when I go to Las Vegas I understand that I am willingly exposing myself to second hand smoke. I don't think there will ever be a smoking ban in Las Vegas casinos. It would be financially detrimental to Las Vegas' top employers.

Let me see if I understand this right. Your in Las Vegas, throwing money down the drain, alcohol and hookers are running rampant, but heaven forbid we smell any smoke. Abortion is legal, hey, what the hecks a baby's life worth if we don't want one. If we get drunk and fight or run over someone, no big deal. But we cannot tolerate smoke.
To this I say, "GET A LIFE."
PS To your statement, smoker's are killing you, I doubt it. Just saw two twins on National News that were 102 years old and they were sharp as a tack and both have been smoking since they were 16. Were all dying the minute were born, were going to all look pretty funny dying healthy.
Geez, I'm not going to get a Best Answer on this one, am I?

I THINK NON SMOKERS ARE TOO MEAN TO SMOKERS and they are going to far, all this is not going to help people quit, just get them angry, they are sold legally just like lots of other things that are not good for good for people,if they are so bad they should quit selling them, now who will miss all that money they get for all them Stinky cigarette's?not just the people who sell tobacco gets the money do they , I SAY people quit Buying them NOT TO SATISFY ALL THESE COMPLAINERS of smoke but to stop filling their pockets.they would sure miss all that money. AND the old man should of put it out on his head. .some would ,you see now I;M angry and really don;t know why I , been trying to quit for my self ,but people make you angry by what they say about us .anger just creates, anger now your angry too aren't;t you.
