gay,...and marriage just don't link up in my mind.
marriage is a union between two that can actually multiply and repopulate the earth, if necessary.

Well i think it is a good thing for all of the peoples and their beliefs in the world. But i am more interested in getting more rights and benefits for same-sex marriage partners and such. I think if we are truly going to co-exist as a human race, tolerance and love is the way. Lots of people are against it because they feel it debunks the man and woman relationship and union. I think we are suppose to love all of the men and women and children in the world no matter what . Yes we are all different and all but truly we are all humans and on this earth as a human race. Unfortunately, that probably wont occur until a cataclysmic world ending problem hits us all and we will die without working together. I do have hope though, with all the new open minded thoughts and wonderful lawmakers that are emerging. It is in the hands of the people, though. We have to vote and vote for what we want. I am for all of us to have love, give love and receive love.

This subject is a smoke screen to me there are people hungry, strung out , being abused etc.. This issue touches everybody in some form or fashion. My take is this if it is that important for homosexuals to per sue this issue lets all examine ourselves and and be truthful. Kant said act only on that Maxim that you would will to be a universal law of nature. If you think the gay marriage would solve some greater good then act on it.

It should be the couples choice, not the governments!! Afterall, the gov. decides everything else, taxes, war, etc...
I am not anti gov but believe that they should not be invited into our bedrooms; much less our hearts. No one can tell me who I can love and if I should fall for someone who shares my gender and want to commit to that person then I should be able to do so. Straight couples have the divorce rate through the roof...could it actually get any worse?

Marriage has nothing to do with religion.
Marriage is a State and Federal RIGHT, not a religious one. That's why you get your License from the State, register it with the State, and the State has to license those who perform it.

Government should not regulate something that is ordained by religions. Our government should recognize civil unions for those who want to join their assets, retirement pensions, etc.
And as for the liberals....lol.

neither the government nor the churches have any business telling us who we can and cannot love. if 2 unrelated, consenting adults love each other, it shouldn't matter what their gender, race, religion or culture is. allowing us to get marred is not going to harm anyone. love is love, live and let live!
