It will take a little space on your hard drive - but it is likely the game will run slow unless you have huge amounts of RAM. It runs slow because of the loading and unloading of files to the RAM.

Theres not many good games if any, out there you can actually "run from the disk" as its called... all games need some sort of "easaly accessable information" eg on the computer hard drive.. That is why you install games on to your pc...
and "will it run slow" well.... in all honesty if you wish to email me (check my profile there should be a link in there) with the spec of the pc i can help you to work out if your computer will "run slow" as you say....(dont mean to be funny but i build gaming pcs for friends)

Yes you have to put the disk in the computer if you are going to play a cd game. But also if you haven't played it you will have to download it. And it will take MB.

It's better to install the game on your PC.
It has to have the right amount of RAM to run regardless of whether it is installed or not.
Best thing is to check with the manufacturer of the game, if it is not in the installation instrucions.
