No, it should not be shut down. You said yourself it's not that great...so why did you keep eating it? Surely you know it's unhealthy. YOU are the one that made yourself fat, NOT McDonald's. If you go there and order a double cheeseburger and fries you certainly can't expect to get any smaller. You made the choice to put that food in your mouth. I, for one, enjoy McDonald's but I'm responsible and don't eat it every chance I get so that I won't get fat.
Blame yourself for getting fat, not McDonald's because you are the one who made the decision to eat there.
Now be quiet.

Why shut down McDonald's-people would just find another fast food source-and MeDonald's does offer some o.k. foods-you just have to be more aware of what you are eating. I am 53 years old and do not consider myself a junk food eater however on occasion the fast food restaurants are a quick stop for me-I usually get one of the kids meals-they are just about the right size for me and they have alternative choices to the fries and pop. Can't really blame someone else for what we put in our body!!

Im going to stop eating too. If they are puttin stuff in their food (which i wouldnt be surprised) They need to be. I know many people who eat there and will want more of it in like the next few hours. This doesnt happen to me at wendys or burgerking, but if i eat a mcdonalds double cheeseburger, I'll want another in the next couple of hours. Crazy.

No I think there is more benefit to McDonalds then just the food they serve - people forget about the Ronald McDonald house charities and the millions of jobs they give to teenagers to take them off the streets - they get it too hard i think

Good for you for dropping the weight, but you can't blame McDonald's for making you heavy. It's your choice to decide what you eat, and the rest of America's to choose what THEY eat. Personally, I like a Happy Meal once in awhile - had one today in fact. Delicious!

No one forces people to eat at any fast food place. It is a personal choice. So what gives one person the right to tell another what is right or wrong??
