what is the differences between the narrator and the writer and please gimme an example

A narrator is someone who is telling the story. If the book says "I thought about what my mother said", then the main character (or whoever "I" refers to) is the narrator. If the book says "Kelly thought about what her mother said", then someone else is the narrator, possibly one of Kelly's friends if they are telling the story, or possibly just the writer of the book.

The writer is the person who sat down at their computer and put the words together to form the story, for example J.K. Rowling is the writer.

In another context, the narrator can be whoever is reading the story, as in when a book is recorded onto a CD. The person talking is the narrator.

I found a dictionary definition of a narrator which is - the entity, be it a person/character/animal within a story that tells the story to the reader. The writer is the person who writes the story. I suggest you either get yourself a very good dictionary, thesaurus or do some research yourself through the internet. One web site I often use is Answers.com, which is multi-functional. eg. dictionary, encyclopedia, thesaurus, antonyms, grammar. You will find many examples of what you are looking for here.
