I think most of these would be considered "Classic Rock". Big list, might need two cd's. Here Goes: Meatloaf (Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad). Loverboy (Lovin' Every Minute of It). Poison (Every Rose Has Its Thorn). Nazareth (Love Hurts). Whitesnake (Slow and Easy, also Love Aint No Stranger). 38 Special (Caught Up In You). Styx (Babe and/or Lady). Billy Squier (My Kinda Lover). Supertramp (Give A Little Bit). Bob Seger (Night Moves). Eddie Money (Baby Hold On, Take Me Home Tonight, No Control, lots of Eddie Money). Robert Palmer (Bad Case of Loving you). Journey (Faithfully and Lovin' Touchin" Squeezin"). Def Leppard (Pour Some Sugar On Me). Great White (Once Bitten Twice Shy). Foghat (Third Time Lucky). Hope this helps and maybe one or two will be acceptable to you.

I truly have discovered that maximum present day rock artists are not surprising in any respect. in truth, that is why, fairly of sticking to rock, i began listening to united states. I advise, Brad Paisley is between the superb guitarists alive (examine him out, in case you haven't already). of direction, each era of music, no remember how undesirable, does frequently have some skills hidden someplace. For eighty's metallic, there grow to be Cinderella and actually some others. MQ: Grudge died swifter...I advise, glam bands are nevertheless traveling and making fairly a variety of of money. some are even popping out with new textile. Grudge, on the different hand, appears virtually thoroughly useless...except for the few Nirvana followers left, which i imagine were thoroughly overrated. EDIT: One large present day band that is one in all my own favorites is go Canadian Ragweed. a lot of people do not recognize who they are in any respect. One reason behind this would nicely be the actual incontrovertible truth that their stupid record label categorised them as united states even as they are of direction rock! provide 'em a pay interest sometime--you is truly no longer sorry...noticeably in case you want large blues-stimulated rock!

suggestions from my collection, which is rather heavy in canadian content:

elton john - your song (this one's a must have!)
yes - onward
queen - you're my best friend; these are the days of our lives
rush - ghost of a chance
supertramp - downstream
blue rodeo - 5 days in may (recommended, but debatable as classic rock)
eagles - love will keep us alive
gowan - moonlight desires
moody blues - nights in white satin; your wildest dreams
styx - babe
chilliwack - i believe
peter frampton - baby i love your way

and if your valentine has a good sense of humour:
tiny tim - tip-toe thru the tulips with me

My husband's helping me here:

"Love Hurts" by Nazareth

Anything by Journey probably will work.

"Changes" by Black Sabbath

"Every Rose Has it's Thorn" by Poison

"Angel" by Aerosmith

"Beth" by Kiss

And, of course, "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin!

Hope this helps!
