How do u increase the number of bots in battlefield 2?

in singleplayer i can only play with 16 players..

Sadly you can't in the normal game. Look for a mod.

you can't but you can download patch 1.4 or 1.41 and create a local server and run a co-op server and put up to 48 bots. You can also change the skill
