My essay is on the documentary an Inconvenient Truth and I have proved Al Gore wrong in three of my arguments. What should I say in my concluding paragraph about him being wrong? (ie. he should have done more research, his results could have been more accurate, etc)

I understand he is not a scientist. I have my work from peer reviewed sources, so they're proving him wrong, not me personally. I'm not throwing numbers out of my butt just to prove Al Gore wrong! And I do not disprove global warming as a whole, I am aware that it is happening. I would have to be blind to not realize that.

It was a movie to show what could happen. There were a lot of facts presented. But, my question to you is: Why has the weather been so crazy this winter?

I wouldnt get excited about 'proving' him wrong, because he got his information from rather a large number of very solid scientific studies and what not. What you dont seem to understand is Gore is NOT a scientist, he is a politician with an agenda, he doesnt do research, those are not HIS results. So if that is the angle you took with your paper, well you blew it.

I don't like Al Gore and I don't know whether or not the statistics are completely accurate. But why do you want to bring negative attention to the movie when it could catapult so many people into action?

Explain that he should have done the work himself. He may have understood it better. Never be just a face to an issue.
