What is your favorite and/or least favorite cover song and why? If you could pick any band to cover a song, which band would it be and what song would they cover?

I love Joe Cockers version of "A Little Help From My Friends" he just makes it his own...I'm not a fan of people covering Beatle songs, but Joe's cover is a job well done.
Don't care much for Tool's cover of Zeppelins "No Quarter" which by the way is my favorite Zep tune.

i have several favourites:
Monster Magnet-"There's No Way Out of Here" (originally by Unicorn and/or David Gilmour)
Emperor-"A Fine Day To Die" (originally by Bathory)
Hawkwind-"Cymalline" (originally by Pink Floyd)
some i don't like:
Mariah Carey-"Without You" (originally by Badfinger and made famous by Nilsson)
Jim Carrey-"Somebody to Love" (originally by the Great Society and made famous by the Jefferson Airplane)
Any cover where it has been given a rap or hip hop beat, such as The Fugees-"Killing Me Softly" (originally by Roberta Flack)
