definantly because last year they didnt have amare and they got to the conference finals. and this year hes giving them 20-10. plus steve nash might go for a third straight MVP.

I agree they have a great chance. They are winning in all ways now. But still need the superstars to be healthy at the right time.
Getting home court will help too.
Remember two years ago they were cruising till Joe Johnson got his face broken up on that freak break away.
And last year they didn't have someone who is a potential MVP every year and had a mishmash in the middle so thier defense was pretty poor.
Noone is deeper or better conditioned than the Suns. That and they are the best in the leauge at Free Throws and I heard they are close to the top in Opp FG %. (Now if they could just protect the Defensive Glass they would be perfect)
On another note, win or lose are they not the funnest team to watch. I watch my original home town team the Bulls play (who are doing well in the East) and they look like a bad college team when compared to the flow, teamwork and just raw athletiscm of the Suns.

I think so. When you have Nash, The Matrix, Amare, and a great supporting cast, you've got a chance. They have got to be the most exciting team to watch in the NBA. I know we've all heard that defense wins championships, but the Suns can be the team to win with offense. They are an elite team in the NBA. If they can get by Dallas this year, they can do it.

The suns are very good during the regular season. Scoring over 100 points a game. But I don't think they have the defense to play with the Mavericks or the Spurs. They might win a series or two but offense can only take you so far.

LOL, good one!!!!!
the suns are a good regular season team but when you look at the playoffs the mavs, spurs, lakers, rockets, jazz and even nuggets are built better for the playoffs
the suns have shown year in and year out they can't hang with the elite teams when it matters, and they change their gameplan too much mainly because they can't do the same stuff in the high energy more physical playoffs
you have to be able to survive in a half court offense in the playoffs

They are capable, but I doubt if they would
They are a great team, one of the best, but they might be a little short, I'm thinking 3rd round.
but this could be a championship team, if Nash, marion, Amare, Bell, and Diaw all plays well.
I think they would loss to either Spurs or Mavs in playoffs.

I dont know what you guys are thinking. why wouldn't they be able to. Steve nash is doing better than last year, Amare Stoudemire is back and playing well, Boris Diaw is playing better, and there defense is a lot better than last year. They are holding teams under 90 consistantley.

Indeed they are...
*Capable*
Anyone who says differently isn't watching this season unfold.
Winning *is* a possibility...
If Amare Stoudemire stays healthy.
He is a defensive monster this season...
Steve Nash is having as good a season as he's ever had, Marion is playing well, and their role players are damn good.
They are deep, and they are playing well.
Still... there are a lot of good teams this year.
"Capable" & "achieving" are two completely different things!

I think they are very capable of winning the Championship....They have a very well-rounded team on their hands-But they need to overcome one major task...Keeping all the players healthy-They seem to have a problem with that!
