As I have said again and again, one player does not make a team. People believed that the Chargers would beat the Patriots just because of LT. People don't realize this, but QBs win Super Bowls, not RBs. Phillip Rivers played all right today, but had he played just a little better, the Chargers probably could have pulled it out. Many fans also tend to discount how big playoff experience can change a game. The Patriots had plenty big-game experience, and the Chargers almost none. Because of this disparity, the Patriots were able to make the big plays, while the Chargers could not. The Chargers head coach, Marty Shottenheimer, has a terrible record in the Playoffs. His teams always tend to choke, and with a coach like Patriots Bill on the other sideline, I wasn't at all surprised that the Patriots won.
