My question is, since their eyes don't open until 28 weeks, and they have never seen anything, to have images in their brain. What do they dream about?

probably the sound of the mothers voice, heartbeat, gurgling sounds, movements etc.
by the way - even though thier eyes open they wouldnt see anything, its pitch black dark in there. so the only thing they would be able to dream about is everything they have experienced thus far

From about 20 weeks old, a fetus displays REM-like eye movements. REM (rapid eye movement) sleep indicates dreaming. they dont open their eyes until the 7th month but they can hear so what they drem about is probably what they hear and feel

their eyes open at 24 weeks, not 28. and its not dreaming as such, its REM (rapid eye movement) that can be seen. the baby is learning agn everything it did that day i.e moved its arm...and remembering how 2 do it
