The way I think he would want me to. By being kind to all friends and neighbors of all colors. Come to think of it, I live in a racially mixed neighborhood. What I think I'll do is make the neighborhood a better place. Grab a garbage bag and go around picking up litter, in honor of Dr. King. The idea being that the words "poor" and "trash" don't have to go together. Not very racial, but then he wanted equality for all of us, didn't he? Race shouldn't matter. It's about making things better for everyone. Thanks for the thought.

By going to work at the ONLY mortgage company open on such a holiday. Yet I have nothing but respect for the man. Anyone who is against racism is a friend of mine.

I am going out to speake to potential workers to try to Organize them in there workplace. I think he would have wanted people doing this kind of work in his memory. And I am going to be speaking to people of all color. I also think he would have wanted it that way too.
He was a pretty wise person, who knew that the trials and tribulations of the working class was did not matter of skin color, that was just an avenue to take away of the real threat of unity.

With a family dinner and discussion of Dr. King's life and work. EDUCATE, in his honor, I think that is what he would have wanted.

I live in New Zealand, so I don't celebrate his B-day.
But I'll probably read a book about him, out of respect, if I have time as I have a lot of homework .

I have to work that day. I have to work on christmas and every other holiday. I'm a farmer, and chickens and cows need to be fed and taen care of no matter what day it is.

No that i am racist or anything because i really think they are great and went though alot, but i probably gonna just skateboard or play guitar becuase i hav no school tomorrow.

Where I'm from we still have to work and kids still have to go to school so I guess I would be working and at college.

I tell my school children the importance of not only him, but every ordinary person who had to fight for freedom in this country so that everybody could partake of it.
