I am ttc and my LMP was on the 3rd of January, on the 13th my other half had sex twice that night in which that would be 10 days after LMP, i have heard that your are more likey to fall pregnant soon after finishing your period is this true and is it possible to ovulate 10 days after LMP as i think i was ovulating then and think i still am due to cramps on one side and my CM is really white thinn and kinda stretchy, i have read that sperm can live up to 3 days inside a womens body this true? if so if i was still ovulating now do i still have a chance sperm are still in waiting?

Having sex twice in the same day will not help your chances of becoming pregnant. It takes a man's body 36 hours to build up sperm again after ejaculation. The CM you are describing is designed to catch sperm in order for you to become pregnant so you are still ovulating. It is possible that there are still sperm inside and if you believe some of the research I have done on line about it, then your chances of becoming pregnant with a girl are higher. The sperm that produce boys don't live as long as the ones that produces girls once inside a woman's body (supposedly). I also have read that sperm live inside a woman's body but for up to 7 days. Now it sounds like you are doing everything right but that still doesn't mean that you will become pregnant but it sounds like you have a good chance. GOOD LUCK...

You probably ovulate 14 days before your period starts, so its better to count back. Try keeping a record of how many days your cycle lasts. Sperm can last for a few days, and it is better to have it there waiting when you do ovulate. Have you tried lying with a pillow under your hips after sx to make sure the little blighters stay put. And you are probably better doing it every second day as it gives the sperm a better chance or something.

you count day one the first day of your period then its more than likely day 14 through day 16 that your ovulating and can get pregnant, however to improve your chances have sex every other day in order to build sperm. good luck

try and hav a orgasium(sp) it suppose to increase the chances of concieving before your man ejaculates,it helps the sperm swim faster to there destination!!
