I've also been extremely bloated. Is this normal to feel these side effects? Is it from the HCG trigger shot or would I feel pregnancy symptoms this early? I'm assuming it's from the HCG shot but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

One more thing...I was on Follistim (gonaditropin) shots to mature my follicles for a week then I had the HCG hormone shot to trigger ovulation.

I had IUI last month and had the same symptoms as you. I went back for the blood test at 15dpiui and was positive, but then a miscarriage (chemical pregnancy). I had overdril injection to trigger ovulation the day before then IUI the next day. I had my second IUI this month and I just got my sore breast couple of days ago so it's a bit different. I will go for my blood test next Monday so hopefully I will have POSITIVE!!!! Good luck! When is your blood test? Good luck to both of us!!!

I had the same procedure and ended up with twins. I also took pergonal have you taken any other fertility drugs? You may be pregnant but try not to get your hopes up in case you're not. Take a test as soon as you can so you are not wondering.Good luck!

Most likely the shots, but the cramping could be the egg attaching itself to your uterus. some cramping occurs because it is imbedding itself into the lining.
