no, while you are becoming a surgeon you wont have time for anything else, unless you are some kind of genius, but when you actually get the job you can call your own shots, within reason, although i suppose that the money will be so good, and you will owe lots for school, that you will want to work lots to make it, and once you start making big bucks its hard to stop.

If being a surgeon is what passionates you and it's what you find pleasure doing, surely the friends you'll make will share the same interest and be in the hospital at the same time and off work at the same time... these will be the people you'll enjoy hanging around with, then you will spend time with your friends.. probably in the operations room. As regards to family, you'll surely meet someone sharing the same passion at the hospital / university and you'll also share a lot with that person and your family members whose schedule fit with yours.... however the most important thing is doing what you love to do.. and if that's being a surgeon, then go for it.. every thing else will come.

The highest paying job for the time involved is a Dentist. A Surgeon does work all the time, even when you have time off someone is always calling you for something.

Yep that's pretty much true. But guess what, you're only 13. Don't worry about your future so much. The only thing you need to worry about are your grades. I guarantee you that your career plans several times as you get older.
