Does it tell them that they've been denied? Because some girl that is not nice to me has added me but Im scared to add her or deny her.

So if I block her... will she get a message saying she's been blocked. It's just Ive had a lot of trouble with bullying at school and it's settled down a lot, this girl is a bully, and I dont knwo what to do!

They will know only if they keep checking their friend request. As long as you haven't denied it, they will still see the request they sent you...when you deny them, that goes away, then they will know.
Just deny her and move on, if she harrases you then report her to the school...

Four words: DO NOT ADD HER! If she is mean to you, chances are, she's looking to bully you online also. If you deny her, she will not get a message saying that she's blocked. It just won't say anything. The only way she'll know is if she has been watching her pending requests, and notices that you are not on there anymore. And the chances of that are slim. Even if she notices, still do not add her. I am a girl, so I know what we're like. She's just going to try to bully you online, so that way she won't get caught as easily. Please, please take my advice.

No, they dont get a message, but there is a Pending Requests where u see the status of the ppl you sent the friend request to, so when they dont see u as their friend and they dont see you still in the status , then they know u did not add them... but if u add her then she will see u as her friends .
U can also block a person, you go to her profile and click on the block me, then she can NOT contact u ever again! OR send you messages!

Nope, it doesn't tell them that they've been denied if you reject their request; they're simply not added to your friends. If you're still uneasy adding her, just don't touch her request; that will have the same effect as not adding her. :]

no it dont tell the person that you did not add them, just tell her how u feel about her, thats why your not adding her, if she keeps giving you problems then block her

it doesnt matter if you deny them or not they will get over it. i have denied heaps of people on my space and they seem to get over it lol.
