Ferrets and rabbits are natural enemies. The ferret will hunt and kill the rabbit. Skip that one please.
Guinea pigs and rabbits can be great friends.
Also consider:
Russian Tortoises they stay small and are vegetarians.
Chinese Box Turtles. They also stay small but need to eat bugs (yuck)
Hermit Crabs
A betta fish or regular fish tank
Rats make great pets. Smart and clean and very affectionate.

Well ferrets are great but require quite a bit of work if you ask me; plus some people think they smell really bad but as long as you keep the cage & litter pan clean it's fine but there will always be that slight smell; it might not be a good idea since you have a rabbit dog & cat incase they dont get a long because they require at least 3 - 4 hours out of the cage daily so I dunno ok that was a lot haha moving on -

Some others to consider are :
birds, hamsters, gerbils, rats
sugar gliders, guniea pig, chinchillas,
or maybe even a reptile like a turtle
snake or lizard. Hope you end up
finding one :]

chinchillas are awesome! Other suggestions would be a bird, but they are messy and loud, ferret, but they smell and might not get along with you rabbit, guinea pig but they stink sometimes too, snakes if you like them ( i hate them), Fish are easy, hamsters, mice and gerbils, but only get one b/c they reproduce like crazy and make sure the one you get isn't pregnant already, and my lasy suggestion would be a hermit crab. I am not sure if you have kids, but they LOVE hermit crabs. They are easy to take care of. Another thing, if you get an animal that has to be in a cage and urinates in bedding, get Cel-sorb!!! It is a special kind of bedding that absorbs smell, and works so much better than cedar chips. Good luck

You can get guinea pigs, but disregard what others have said, they've got it all wrong. Guinea pigs need to be in pairs of at least two, same sex or neutered. Keeping one pig is cruel to them. They are extremely social animals and do not do well alone at all. It has been shown to shorten their life span. They should never be housed with rabbits, it's EXTREMELY dangerous for the pigs. They need lots of space, though. Two females need 7.5 sq feet of space, two males need 10.5 sq ft. See www.guineapigcages.com As long as the cages are cleaned regularly, they do not smell at all. They're not very easy to care for, but not too bad. They do get sick, which you will need to get them to the vet ASAP because they go downhill within hours. They need daily veggies (nutritonally proportioned) along with plain pellets and timothy hay. They are, however, prone to URI's, UTI's, abcesses, ovarian cysts, just to name a few. ADOPT DON'T BUY! Guinea pigs are immensly overpopulated, there are thousands homeless. See www.petfinder.com

I doubt this dragon would be worthy of "best friend" status to the honorable rabbit but the dragon above is correct. We have no beef with rabbits (there isn't enough beef on a rabbit to feed a dragon :)

Hamsters and guinea pigs are adorable little buggers. Hamsters are easy to care for and the cage shouldn't smell that much if you change the bedding often and clean the cage weekly. Look at the link below and read up on them a lot before getting one. Good luck!

Fancy rat - female. I had one and she was wonderfull, she came when she was called by name. Her fur smelled like candy. And She was very smart. Even my cat loved to play with her, when i would let her run on the bed, cat loved that girl and when she died the cat did not eat for a week, she was so sad.
P.S. And i said female rat, males smell. Have two boy rats now.

A parakeet. Best pet I've ever had and if you use the corn cob litter in the bottom of the cage, it doesn't get smelly.

I have horses a dog and a ferret. I think a ferret would be a great one b/c it loves to play with my dog and loved to play with my cat until it died. But i would consider gettin one though...you can get them at a local pet store or at Petsmart
