Sitting on the couch all day eating ice cream and potatoe chips while watching sad movies all day can really help!

Like everyone else says...time. I think the rule is that it will take half the time you dated him to get over him. If you dated him for 12 months, it will take 6 months before he doesn't pop up in your head every day. Meanwhile, do things to get yourself out there again. Tell your friends to set you up, just for practice dating. Try flirting online with a matchmaking service. If you act happy, you will be happy. It just hurts a lot at the beginning...really, it goes away!

Give yourself time. Go out with friends and dont dwell on it You are young and just be grateful you did not make a bigger mistake. Take something from the relationship as a learning tool.

Get angry.
It sounds weird, but if you get angry enough, you won't be sad, you'll just want to punch him. Eventually, the anger will subside and you'll be fine.
Hope this helps.
