your answer.........
In my view,If you never feel satisfied, this is because of who you are as a person.I would call you an achiever WHO WANTS SUCCESS.....Nobody has give you this,It was done by yourself.
I can totally relate to this 100%,I myself started a concrete business,I set my goals and reached them,Its because of getting bored once you have reached them, and you your self set another challenge to hurdle over.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with your attitude,As for being not satisfied we all feels like this,I have the most wonderful kindest sweetest wife in the world,Would I betray her...?No way,Do I think about it,all the time.Being satisfied is a conscious decision you have to make on what are you satisfied with.
If I wasn't happy with my wife because she couldn't cook properly is a selfish thought,Im satisfied with her as she is in me.
I think you need to sort out what you are not satisfied with, and be honest with your self,Is this Selfishness,Greed,Ungreatfullness..?
Find those missing links and you will be a happy person,as for achieving goals in business the ski is the limit.
regards

lol you're not even satisfied with the answers!
I'm guessing you're setting your sights on stuff like money, women, wisdom, power, work, pleasure...
... nothing intrinsically wrong but they're not the end cause- you'll never be satisfied by them. Read Ecclesiastes in the Bible- there's a guy who tryed to find satisfaction in all the above things and came away saying that "everything under the sun is meaningless". Like him you need to find your meaning in the source- the one who gave you your being: God. Remove your preconceptions and treat life as a quest to know him.
I wish you success, satifisfaction, and the blessing of God.
Peace :)

It's only natural to aspire to better things. With maturity one realises that one may not always be able to achieve all the goals one has set. This has to be accepted and satisfaction comes from being able to advise and help someone along the way using ones experience and knowledge. The ability to be able to help someone is a good indicator of what you have achieved and is very gratifying.
The more one puts into life the more one gets out of life.
Good question
Keep smilin'.

Have you ever stopped to look at what you have and have achieved so far in your life and really be proud of yourself for that? Until you are happy with yourself and what you have at the present you will never be happy with what you do not have or have not achieved yet. Be content and appreciative for what you have right now....and then anything else will just be icing on the cake!!!
Remember the best things in life...... are not things....
I've also heard some very intelligent people say that the more they learn...the more they realize they can never learn enough!! We should always strive to better ourselves but at the same time always be comfortable with what we are right now...

well now. You have a major problem. We call it being normal. come on if you have so much life experience, surely why know this by now. it's like a child. he wants a toy, keeps it for 2 days then is garbage. the excitement of wanting something, the rush and then the achievement of that is great . but when you got it, then you feel like: ok what's next? what do you want me to say?: "I hope you will never get that promotion.", so that you can give a meaning to your life? try getting a diploma in brain surgery. that should keep you busy a while.:)

Who is satifsfied? Human potential is grand and neverending. Don't humans live for satisfaction, for the ambition towards more satisfaction? If you ask me, there is no end to achievement, and to me, life is like a span of time where you achieve as much as you possibly good.
Perhaps achievement is your means of satisfaction, like many others. The world is always changing and therefore there are always new things, always new things to accomplish and new things to enjoy.
That being said, I do not think that you will ever be dead satisfied.

hmm.
Ultimately, it all comes down to being grateful for what you have. In my point of view, you have the aspirations of any person -- to be successful in whatever you do and to always pursue more. Why not? Its the goal of any man/woman to experience life and prosperity.
What you should consider; however, is what controls you. What directs your life? Is it money, fear, pride, lust, greed? Whatever dictates what you pursue so strongly is your god and you gotta be careful about what controls you, because the wrong thing could send you spiraling downward... and if you've gained so much, take time out to enjoy it. Be grateful for it so that the stress of gaining more doesn't take up all of your mind's realestate.
I hope you experience prosperity this year in many ways, but be sure to allow love to guide your decisions - not greed.
One book I suggest to you is "The Four Agreements"

Evolution is the key to your dissatisfaction. What would man be if the moment he achieved his goals he was so satisfied that he let himself bask in his achievements, only to let other men and women seek further self improvement? People who were not born with your dissatisfaction got trampled by Whooly Mammoths many years ago.

Because you're obviously ambitious and there is nothing wrong with that. I was the same and was always restless and wanting more. Thankfully at about 50 I suddenly calmed down and relaxed, it felt great and still does.
But it's your personality so don't try and change yourself.

its just a natural thing for over-achievers. I used to be like you, but then one day something went wrong and i didn't achieve like normal. and that day turned into a week. and then a semester at school and then a year. now i don't tell myself to achieve more than what i think i can....if that makes sense...
