Doesn't te cold air we're getting now feel shallow, like it feels comfortable and you can feel the warmth and moistening of the air on your skin, but at the same time, it's actually brisk.

Oh, my gosh! its got to be global warming!!!
Why even the cold has been changed by it and now cold doesn't feel cold like it used to.
Or, maybe the big oil companies have paid off all the weather companies and thermometer makers. It was probably 65 degrees outside today but all the tv channels said it was 42.
BTW, seriously, most cold air is cold AND dry and that can really suck the heat out of your body because it will dry you out. As a suggestion, maybe the cool/cold air you are experiencing is fairly moist for winter air so it just doesn't seem as cold in comparision.

The cold air mass is pretty moist. The wind is probably the brisk part, if you have moisture on your skin and the wind blows it'll probably evaporate and cool the skin.

~~~Im loving every moment of the cold we are having,,,,living in the AZ desert where it gets to be 120 every summer,,,,I am relishing in the cold ,,,,, :) hmmm if it snows that would be a treat!

maybe you have the flu, when i get sick sometimes i can be hot and cold at the same time, its really annoying
