man everytime i try to put newer songs on my Sansa E200 it always dies or the screen shuts off..?

i only have 100 songs and it holds 500 so why cant i download

I dont have Sansa, but mine acts funny too when I transfer a song when its near full. If theres not enough room to finish the transfer, it acts weird.

You sure you haven't been playing around with the Voice recording feature and have a lot of space taken up by that? The voice recordings are in .wav format which is quite bigger than you think. I've taken over half of my capacity just by a few recordings. The only way I figured it out, is when I hooked up MP3 player to the computer, I went to My Computer and then clicked on the Removeable Disk drive (thats created when you plug in the thing). I start looking at a couple of subfolders in there, and noticed a bunch of big .wav files. I then realized they were the voice recordings.

Well, just double check on my computer, click on the removeable drive letter and see how much space you have left. Maybe you're full.
