I'm 16. I'm a junior. I'm smart. I'm good with people and numbers. I can go to pretty much any college I want. I want to make a lot of money. Where should I go? What should I major in? What kind of job should I get?
please note: I don't want a job that'll require more than 50 hours of work a week.

Haha, why am I asking if I'm so smart? Because intelligence and knowledge are unrelated.

Blood makes me cringe. I'm not professional athlete or artist material. I don't want a job I love. I want money so that I can do the things I love.

Good luck - find a job you love as you could be doing the same thing every day for the next 25 years or more......
The Highest Paying Jobs
Note that "highest paying jobs" does not mean one will become wealthy working these jobs. It means that people working in these fields were paid a higher hourly wage than those working in other fields.
1)Highest Paying Jobs That Don't Require a College Degree
2)Highest Paying Jobs Requiring a Two Year Degree
3)Highest Paying Jobs Requiring a Four Year Degree
4)Highest Paying Jobs Requiring a Graduate Degree

I want to say it sucks that all these idiots get so upset that you say you are smart. Good for you, and be proud of yourself. It is not like you are running around telling people you are smart, it was in the context of a question.
If you want money to do the things you love and that is your goal then I would suggest going into the financial field. Brains, desire and confidence are good traits to have in that area. I wish you the best of luck in attaining your goals.
Proper grammar on Yahoo answers is not a sign of intelligence, nor is good spelling, but people don't really understand the difference between knowledge of facts and intelligence, i.e. ability to figure things out.

You may also look out for an option to work online to make extra cash in your spare time. I am a part time worker doing work online at home, so I would like to share a link where you can make $600-$1500 in a month working at home. The work need to be done is posting/answering a discussion and uploading any photo/image of your interest. For details visit
http://ommc.blogspot.com
I will publish few more genuine site in couple of weeks, where you can earn money. You may also write to me at talkofmoney@rediffmail.com (Note: When u are planning for a home based online work, be careful because most of them are scam and ask you to pay initial money. never pay money to any such site.)

You are proving against how smart you think you are, simply by saying "I am smart". Its really scary that you are only worried about how much money you will make. If you think you can go to any college you want, apply to Harvard, Yale, Priceston. Then see the reality check at how hard it can be to get into a University like that. Think of how you are going to pay for it. If your so smart you should be able to go on scolarship.
I find it very hard to believe that you think you can get into any University, when you don't even have any idea what you want to do, and the most important thing to you is money. Most who get that good of grades and are smart, at least have some direction and know what they want. Of course money isnt the top priority.
Any career you have is going to require work. Espically if you want to make alot of money. You need to work doing what you want, what will make you happy. Why would you want to work a great job, making 150K a year, and not be happy. Those who care would rather be the most happy person on earth, and make 45k. In reality, no matter what it may seem right now, at your age, money does not buy happines.
If I could "get into any college I wanted", I would go to Yale and become a lawyer. However chances are you would be working more then 50 hours a week. They can make anywhere between 100-250k.
Or a doctor. They can make anywhere between 100k-350k.
If you really believe that you can get into any college you want, take advantage of that, and go to a top school. However, money is not just handed to a person, you must think of how you are going to pay for this. Ivy league schools, can run hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Not that I dont believe you, but if you think you can get into anyone, you would think that you would have started to think about universities and do research and such by now. Most who go to ivy league schools or top schools, dream of it since they are little children.
One more thing, if you are so smart, why are you typing in choppy sentences? I'm 16. I'm a junior. I'm smart.
Not all that great of english. No top school is going to accept that. If you continue to write like that you'll be failing out of University by your second week.

it isn't so much about the money
although you should know that if you don't make at least 50,000 dollars a year, then you won't live the comfortable life that you want ( i did an experiment on this so i am not making this up). so do what you love and love what you do, and it won't matter too much how much you make. Doctors make a ridiculous amount of money, but not everyone is cut out to be a doctor. focus on what you like and go from there. And don't forget to pray.

are you into medical? How about anesthesiologist or endocrinologist? It all depends on what field you choose as there are plenty of jobs that pay well if you get enough schooling and go high enough.
