But I think you have your numbers wrong .The Earth is abot 9.3 *10^7 miles from the Sun. The actual number should be 5.2 times

Just divide the expressions:
4.83 x 10^8 divided by 9.32 x 10^6
= 0.518 x 10^ 2
= 5.18 x 10^-1 x 10^2
= 5.18 x 10
=52

But, if I recall, the distance from sun to Earth is more along the lines of 93,000,000 miles, or 9.32 X 10**7.

4.83x10*8 div by 9.32x10*6, dividing both values by 10*6 reduces them to 4.83x10*2 div by 9.32, or
483 div by 9.32, or 51.8+/- times as far. Call it 52 times as far.
