For the most part I do like teachers.
I do know some teachers that shouldn't be a teacher and not good at it but that is a small precentage. At least I hope it is a small part of the teachers.
God bless anyone that can be trapped all day in a room with children.

Hey Army Gal, I think we may have had the same teacher! Yes, I like the majority of teachers. And I have had a few that I didn't like. Not because they were strict or gave a lot of work, but because they rarely cared if the student failed or not, and were not sympathetic or helpful even if the students were trying. But that's life I suppose, you're not always going to like everyone and they will not always like you.

Yes, I like teachers. A majority of them are really great and have a real passion for children and making sure that they learn and excel in life. I do run across a few at times who are burnt out and need a break but that just comes with the job after working it for years and years.

Most of the time yes. The only one that I didn't was the teacher that dissed Americans to our American Faces. She's a Spanish teacher, but was born in the U.S. She would tell us that we (People from the U.S.) are all stupid and would all get C's and D's in Spain. She also told us that American's eat too much and are fat. She said all and ment all.
I was the only one out of the 150 or students she had that spoke out.
I got a detention (she claimed not for that reason, but whatever) it was worth it, and still is!!

Some teachers are cool. I am in school right now going for a teaching degree. I respect teachers for what they do everyday and most are underpaid for what they do. But, in life you do find a few teachers who you don't like and in becoming a teacher you learn from the things you didn't like about them and you don't do those things in your classroom.

yah, teachers are da bomb...i am still friends with my high school track and cc coach, english and AP bio teachers...cause their classes were so cool and they really got it across that they cared about the kids...being down to earth and approachable helps..as all my favorite teachers were in high school & college.
