I am a black female in college and I have a party coming up for a particular sorority that I want to join. I do not know what type of outfit to wear? Give me some ideas, whats hot?

That would really depend on the party.
If it's like most parties I attended in college you could go with a nice pair of jeans, but wear a pretty sweater and nice boots.
Accessorize with a great belt and earrings.
Macy's has really pretty cashmere sweaters on sale this week for $40. There was one in particular that I love. It's a soft lilac, very smooth, fine knit. Classy, yet casual.

Sorority girls are really into wearing dresses. It needs to be classy, trendy, and on the casual side. Forever 21 is good for finding dresses like this. I wore a dress when I went out with my girlfriends the other night that would be perfect for what you need. It's knee length, empire waist with a v neck and kimono style sleeves. Keep it fun!

A nice pair of jeans. Black shoes. A black V-neck long sleeve or short sleeve shirt. Use accessories to complete the outfit. Use nice simple jewelry...and remember less makeup the better.

wear some tight jeans. a white tank top with a jacket that will match ur shoes. also, let ur eyeshadow match ur jacket if it isnt too outrageous. but look natural also.
